Plot

What's the plot so far in this game you ask? Well here it is!

Opening

Ten years ago in 2014 there was The Red Hole incident which nearly took out all of Tokyo. Ever since then people have been trying to rebuild and trying to get everything back in order. After that accident occurred however, Deadmen started to come about, but that was all a secret.

Two years later production for Deadman Wonderland began, Japan's first privately owned prison! It served as both a correctional facility and a theme park! How exciting!

A year later the prison was opened and ready for business.

The Prison

Deadman Wonderland has been up and running for a good ten years now! The year is 2024 and everything seems to be going oh so smoothly. Inmates are coming and going almost daily, the system they have in place for them also seems to be going just fine! Earn CP and eat that candy, fellas!

Underneath it all though lies something else. Deadmen, those that can control their blood, they're coming into the prison all the time as well. Why? Well, they're all criminals... right? Of course they are. Even though most of them claimed to be framed they're just lying! At least, that seems to be the case. Even now Deadmen aren't exactly public, in fact they're being kept as a secret. Their ward is down underneath the prison and they're treated differently even. If you're a Deadman then you're the most valuable asset to the Warden. If you're not one, well you'll become one eventually!

The Warden has been building her Deadman army for years, both for her own selfish purposes and to watch them fight for entertainment. She's not the only one watching, there are plenty of people that pay valuable prices to be allowed to view two Deadmen fighting it out and killing one another. Yup, that's where most of the big bucks of this place comes from. Old rich guys are so easy to control, aren't they?

Along with the doctor, the Warden has developed a way to turn normal people into Deadmen. They need to be compatible in order for the process to go over smoothly, if they're not then they'll be considered rejects and will never gain the power that other Forgeries have. Yes, if you're a forced Deadman then you're considered a Forgery. If you're a successful Forgery, then you'll be just as strong as the natural ones!

It's too bad though, during the time of all this wonderful research there has been a couple sad attempts on Second's part to kill the Warden. Seriously such a tragedy... no one can be trusted! He's tried to even poison her, that really ticked her off. Remember, follow the rules and no one gets hurt.

The Newcomers

With all the people flooding into the prison, it just makes you wonder if there's any good left in the world, no? Well well, don't worry about that! Just think about it later, much later, when you're curled up in your cot at night and have no one else around. That's right, that's what most of the new meat think when they arrive in this place. There was recently a huge influx of prisoners and boy they are lively!

The Warden has been very pleased with them all, she's been watching them closely.

Unhappy customers

What, you're all unhappy about how things have been going? Fear not! The Warden and her Second are on the job! They've been trying oh so hard to get everything back into order! ...However, there's something different with these batch of newcomers. The Warden has been doing her research and watching people extra closely, she doesn't want anyone to be upset about her prison!

Second's Betrayal

It seems that among all the events, happy times with friends and animals, there has been treason! Yup, the Warden noticed and she had decided to take action. She had suspected that Second would try something but this was simply too much! Not only has Second been telling inmates what the new events are and striking deals with them, he's even been getting along with them like they're his friends or something! That was simply the last straw, and the Warden decided to make an example of Second in front of everyone by tying him up and whipping him. Do not worry though, he had been sent off to become reformed as one of the Warden's precious forgeries.

Second's rescue

Something that the Warden hadn't seen coming was the way everyone jumped up to help rescue him. It really ticked her off, so of course she's been devising a way to get back at them all. While they all scrambled about and attempted to rescue him the Warden simply let them do as they pleased. There was a distraction team, a control room team, infiltration team and even an exit team. They had succeeded in getting him out and even though the Warden tried to step in and stop that part he still managed to hide away from everything. Despite knowing everything about the prison, it seems that the Warden doesn't know everything. Nope, Second is in hiding now and is slowly recovering.
